Story

A local factory needed my help tracking made-to-order products once they were ordered on Shopify. The production process involved generating printing templates, receiving digital media from artists, and tracking items through several worker stations.

With a team of 2 others we plugged into the eCommerce APIs, generated Illustrator templates, designed interfaces for each station, came up with intuitive rules for the production process, sorted items to optimize worker efficiency, and used a Shipping API to create labels and send off completed products. And each production piece and batch was instantly searchable with QR codes that we generated in production.
